Masaga in for Wulf

The New Zealand Rugby Union said Masaga would fly to Dunedin to join the All Blacks as cover while Wulf's injury was assessed.

An announcement on his availability for Saturday's first Test would be made on Friday, the NZRU said.

"Rudi landed quite heavily on his left shoulder during training and is in some pain," New Zealand team doctor Deb Robinson said.

"He will undergo an x-ray later this afternoon, which will determine how serious the injury is."

Masaga, 22, has yet to represent New Zealand at Test level but played for the country's Under 21s team and performed strongly for the Waikato Chiefs in this year's Super 14.
