England centre Mike Tindall has had surgery on his right leg after breaking it in Gloucester's league game with Newcastle.

Tindall had a pin inserted into the lower third of the tibia on Saturday night to help repair a fracture that has already ruled him out of Gloucester's Premiership run-in and England's summer tour to South Africa.
"An injury of this severity to one of our key individuals at this stage of the season is obviously a serious blow because Mike possesses all the characteristics you require during the play-offs," Gloucester coach Dean Ryan told the club's website.
"He has big-game experience, natural leadership qualities and knows what it takes to win these one-off matches and we will miss his contribution."
Tindall suffered the injury when he collided with fellow-England international Toby Flood in Newcastle's 19-12 victory over the Cherry and Whites at Kingston Park.
He is expected to be sidelined for 12 weeks and should be available for England's World Cup campaign.
