Tindall to miss Africa

Mike Tindall will miss England's summer tour to South Africa after breaking his leg.

The centre underwent an operation on Saturday to have a pin inserted in his lower right leg after he was injured in a collision with England international colleague Toby Flood in Gloucester's Premiership loss against Newcastle on Friday.

The 28-year-old - who was part of the World Cup winning set-up in 2003 - will miss England's Tests against the Springboks in Bloemfontein on May 26th and Pretoria a week later, and his World Cup participation is now also in doubt.
