Great Britain’s Nick Thompson will have to wait to fight for bronze in his medal race after the men's Laser-class single person dinghy was postponed.
A lack of wind left insufficient time before sunset to complete the competition, World Sailing, the sports governing body said, which means the race will happen on Tuesday.
Thompson, who lies sixth overall, said after racing on Saturday: "I'm certainly going to fight for that bronze. I'm just disappointed that I haven't given myself any more of a chance.
"I think it will be good to have a day off, reset and go into the medal race fully fired up and fighting."
