After crashing out of Saturday’s 1500m semi-final – which followed a fall in the 500m final – Christie will look to bounce back in the 1000m heats, which will be live on Eurosport from 10am GMT.
"I’m just about to leave to go down to the ice rink to go and try and compete today," Christie said on Twitter. "I skated this morning for the first time and it went quite well considering the circumstances. I'm looking forward to get out there and see if I can race today."
Team GB chef de mission Mike Hay confirmed Christie had "ruptured part of the tendons" in her ankle, after colliding with China’s Li Jinyu.
Christie, who is the reigning world champion in the 1000m, took to social media on Sunday to showcase her fight back to fitness.
The 27-year-old – who suffered three disqualifications at Sochi 2014 – will hope the final chapter of her Pyeongchang campaign ends with glory, after a heart-breaking finish in her opening two events.
