Canada's Mirela Rahneva picked up her second-ever Skeleton World Cup victory, on the same track she won her first in St Moritz.
The 30-year-old had claimed her only previous World Cup win in Switzerland in 2017 and repeated the trick in impressive fashion.
She sat second after the first run, 11 hundredths behind Russia's Elena Nikitina, but a run of 1:08.55 second time around allowed her to overhaul the overall World Cup leader.
Nikitina had to settle for second, with Germany's Jacqueline Loelling in third and the pair now sit one and two in the World Cup standings, with Tina Hermann in third.
Brits Madelaine Smith and Kimberley Murray were ninth and tenth respectively, with Laura Deas pulling out of the event due to illness.
