Alexander Tretiakov made it two Skeleton World Cup wins on the spin as he sealed victory in Altenberg.
In the second of three consecutive rounds in Germany, the Russian flew down the course in a combined 1:55.09 – more than half a second quicker than nearest challenger Yun Sungbin - for his second success of the campaign after triumphing in Winterberg last time out.
South Korean Yun had to settle for silver after posting 1:55.06, with Tretiakov's compatriot Nikita Tregubov third.
Victory for Tretiakov, the 2014 Olympic champion, ensures three Russian wins from the opening three rounds of the 2018-19 competition, Tregubov having taken the crown in the season opener in Sigulda, Latvia.
Tretiakov leads the overall standings having amassed 642 points, 25 ahead of Tregubov in second. Yun's three podium finishes see him sit third on 610.
