Unstoppable Lundby continues winning streak

Maren Lundby's run of World Cup victories keep on coming after the Norwegian sealed her sixth straight ski jumping triumph in typically impressive style.

The 23-year-old leaped 88.5m and 91m in her two jumps – the furthest efforts of the day by any athlete – to confirm victory on the slopes in Ljubno, Slovenia with an overall score of 256.0.
Katharina Althaus of Germany and Japanese skier Sara Takanashi completed the podium positions with respective efforts of 241.5 and 236.3.
Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz narrowly missed out on a medal, posting 235.7.
Lundby remains well clear atop the World Cup standings with 860, 280 ahead of Althaus in second and 330 clear of third-place Takanashi.
Lundby has seven victories from her nine events this season, coming second in the other two to Althaus.
