Joe Perry won the final four frames for a 6-3 win over Anthony Hamilton in the European Masters semi-finals in Lommel.
World number 25 Perry - nicknamed 'The Gentleman' - showed his class as breaks of 72, 64, 70 and 74 saw him end Hamilton's hopes of claiming a second ranking title a year after his German Masters victory.
Hamilton had led 2-0 and 3-2 with breaks of 70 and 67 before his fellow Englishman produced a fine run of scoring to reach his first final since losing the 2017 Masters final to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Perry is chasing a second major ranking final after winning the 2015 Players Championship.
He will face Jimmy Robertson in Sunday's final after the world number 36 completed a 6-4 win over Mark King. Having trailed 3-2, Robertson won three straight frames before scrambling over the winning line in the 10th frame.
Robertson produced breaks of 99, 82 and 132 to reach his first ranking final with King's knocks of 85, 64 and 97 seeing him coming up just short another final after his Northern Ireland Open triumph in 2016.
