Shaun Murphy came from 2-1 down to beat Judd Trump 4-2 in the final of the Gibraltar Open.
Trump, who finished as the runner-up to Stuart Bingham in the Welsh Open earlier this year, took the first frame with a 117 that included a break of 59.
Murphy responded to make it 1-1 but Trump fired in an 84 to take a 2-1 lead.
However three successive half-centuries from Murphy, including 96 in the sixth, saw 'The Magician' take the crucial fourth frame he needed for victory.
Both players will hope to take their fine form into the final few ranking events of the season which include the Players Championship, the China Open and finally the World Championship.
Earlier in the day Murphy had beaten Barry Hawkins, Mark Williams and Nigel Bond to book his place in the final whilst Trump beat Sanderson Lam, Jack Lisowski and Ryan Day.
