Ryan Day made short work of China's Cao Yupeng in the final of the Gibraltar Open, wrapping up a 4-0 victory with a superb individual performance.
Cao hadn't potted a single ball at the start of the fourth frame, but Day did give him a chance with a few sloppy shots.
But the Welshman finished the win off in clinical fashion to claim his second ranking event of the year.
Speaking immediately after his victory, Day said:
I'm delighted, obviously. It's been a long couple of days, seven matches. I played three really good frames at the start of the match and tried to keep Cao under as much pressure as possible and fell over the line in the end. I'm delighted to win another tournament.
Meanwhile a visibly emotional Cao summed up his lacklustre performance, saying:
In the first three frames Ryan potted every long shot and he made me a little nervous. In the last frame I got a chance, but I didn't have a very good feeling. Ryan played so good today.
