Updated 24/02/2019 at 23:11 GMT
Thepchaiya Un-Nooh claimed his first ranking title with victory over Michael Holt in the Snooker Shoot Out in Watford.
Thepchaiya, widely considered the fastest player on tour, was in his element in Watford, producing a knock of 74 to triumph in the final.
The 33-year-old Thai stepped up brilliantly in the latter rounds, making a sensational 139 break – a tournament record – in his semi-final win over Jamie Clarke.
Holt had downed former champion Michael White in the last four, but barely had a shot in the final as his opponent stormed to victory.
Thepchaiya collected a winner’s cheque for £32,000 and the same amount of ranking points.
