Si Jiahui is into the quarter-finals of the World Snooker Championship for the first time after beating Robert Milkins 13-7. The 20-year-old from China produced a stunning victory over an in-form Shaun Murphy in the first round. Si, who had to play three qualifying matches to reach this year's World Championship, becomes only the fourth player from China to appear in a Crucible quarter-final.

'A star is born!' - Si seals historic win with century

Si Jiahui finished off his last-16 encounter against Robert Milkins with a 13-7 win to continue his fairytale Crucible debut and reach the World Championship quarter-finals.
The 20-year-old qualifier, who knocked out world No. 4 - and one of the pre-tournament favourites - Shaun Murphy in the previous round, will play either Anthony McGill or Jack Lisowski next.
Si is the youngest World Championship quarter-finalist since Matthew Stevens in 1998.
He started Monday's session with a commanding 11-5 lead and needing just two frames to finish the match off.
However, Si got off to a nervy start to the session with a string of poor shots which gave Milkins four good chances in quick succession to take the frame. But the Milkman could not capitalise.
A fine long red into the middle pocket looked to give Si the confidence boost he needed, but he immediately followed up by pocketing the white.

Eventually, the error-strewn opening frame was won by Si with a break of 67.
Si looked to be getting back into his groove at the start of the 18th frame, but he missed a match ball red on 68 which gave Milkins the chance to respond. The Welsh Open champion made no mistake in capitalising with a clearance of 69 to snatch the frame.
Momentum was clearly with Milkins and he reduced the deficit further to 12-7 with a break of 55, producing a superb cannon off the last red along the way.
But in the next frame it was Milkins who missed a costly red which was met by gasps from the crowd.

Si ensured he would be taking home his biggest prize money yet as he finished the frame off with a century.
Si's quarter-final against either McGill or Lisowski will start on Tuesday afternoon.
