Perfect Andreas Prommegger in a class of his own in PyeongChang
Andreas Prommegger extended his lead at the top of the overall men's parallel World Cup standings with victory in the giant slalom in PyeongChang.
The Austrian beat France's Sylvain Dufour in the final by just 0.15s to take his overall lead to 286 points over compatriot Benjamin Karl – who finished a disappointing 14th – while Korea's Sangho Lee took third by beating Italy's Maurizio Bormolini.
Prommegger also tops the giant slalom standings after five events, with a commanding 670-point advantage over Italy's Roland Fischnaller.
The athletes head to Secret Garden next week before the parallel giant slalom season wraps up in Scuol in early March.
