Katie Ormerod comes into her first Winter Olympics as one of the most promising talents in snowboard slopestyle and big air.
- Name - Katie Ormerod
- Date of Birth - 25/08/1997
- Place of Birth - Brighouse, UK

Ormerod only just missed out on qualifying for the Sochi Games in 2014, at the age of 16, but hopes to enter the Olympic arena in PyeongChang as a real medal contender.
She showed she can reach the podium in the biggest events when taking slopestyle bronze at the X Games in Aspen at the start of 2017.
In a productive 2016-17 season, Ormerod also won a big air World Cup event - becoming the first Brit to do so. Although the season ended in a nasty injury as she broke her back during training for the World Championships in March.
Katie O is known for her impressive tricks and at 15 years old became the youngest woman to execute a double backflip. A year later, she pulled off the first women's backside double cork 1080.
Ormerod learned her trade on a dry ski slope in Halifax and her cousin, Jamie Nicholls, also hopes to represent Britain in PyeongChang.
