The 28-year-old, who became the first British woman to win a speed skating world championship when she when claimed three gold medals in Rotterdam in 2017, came home second in Sunday afternoon's women's 500m final to claim a podium spot in the final World Cup event of the 2018-19 season in Turin.
Christie was unable to prevent home skater Martina Valcepina from charming her home supporters, the Italian claiming victory in 43.643 seconds.
However, Christie, who was disqualified from Saturday's 1500m final, was second over the line this time around, coming home in 43.903 to earn herself a place on the podium.
Earlier, Christie had won her quarter-final heat ahead of Valcepina but the pair switched finishing positions in the semi-finals.
And although the Italian was also first in the final, Great Britain ace Christie was nonetheless left to reflect on a fine end to her World Cup season.
Meanwhile, South Korea's Hwang Dae-heon added men's 1000m gold to the 500m title he won on Saturday, triumphing in 1:27.257 ahead of compatriot Ji-Won Park.
