The journey to MotoGP stardom starts with the British Talent Cup

Young riders in Britain can now register for the British Talent Cup - the best way to begin a journey all the way to MotoGP.

Registration for the 2019 event is now open - and closes in the middle of June, with riders due to race on Honda NSF250R Moto3™.

Most races even take place at existing Dorna-run events - such as MotoGP™ and MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship weekends – as well as alongside the British Superbikes Championship.

The Road to MotoGP™ could begin today by registering to be part of the British Talent Cup.

Some high-performance riding experience is required, but there is no specific minimum level of road racing experience.

Enrolment and selection

Prospective participants can now apply online – and the Application Form will remain available at www.britishtalentcup.com from now until June 17th.

Once riders have applied online, they may be invited to the Selection Event on August 21st and 22nd.

This selection program for the Cup will preface the 2018 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where prospective riders will be put through their paces and the best offered the chance to race in the Cup in 2019.
