World Superbikes: Jonathan Rea responds to Superbikes chief's claim he is 'not charismatic'

Jonathan Rea has responded to the claim of World Superbikes sporting director Gregorio Lavilla that he is 'not charismatic'.

On the weekend that the Northern Irishman completed a third double victory on the trot in Portimao, Lavilla was interviewed by Eurosport's Charlie Hiscott, who asked how the racing could be made less boring.
The former BSB champion responded: “This is a funny question because in some other championships you have someone who is really the best one and everyone try to evaluate these things.
Unfortunately, we have the best one but maybe he is not the most charismatic guy and these things are maybe losing interest for people.
“We don’t do things to change this, we just try to have fair racing and the best may win. In the case it’s the same rider all the time, congratulations to him.”
And Rea, who could seal his fourth straight title at Magny Cours on September 28-30th, has now responded on Twitter, simply replying: 'That smile though...'
