Alexander Zverev produced a sublime performance to beat Novak Djokovic 6-4 6-3 to claim the ATP Finals title on Sunday, leaving the world of tennis swooning over the 21-year-old’s talent.

It represented the German’s biggest title of his fledgling career, and, on doing so, denied Djokovic a record-equalling sixth win at the year-ending event.

Social media were warm with their praise of the world number five.
