MATCH OF THE DAY
- Marton Fucsovics (HUN) v Roger Federer (SUI) [2]
Roger Federer is looking to repeat his 2017 success, and win what would be his sixth Australian Open. He admits that 2018 is likely not to be quite as remarkable, but he deserves his number two ranking and Marton Fucsovics should not trouble him too much as he looks to progress.
POTENTIAL UPSET OF THE DAY
- Novak Djokovic (SRB) [14] v Chung Hyeon (KOR)
Novak Djokovic is feeling his way back into seriously competitive tennis after a long time out with a problem elbow. Given we're now approaching the final stages of the tournament, Djokovic's fitness will be tested after so long out of the game. While his talent makes him the heavy favourite, if Chung Hyeon maintains his energy levels he may be able to exploit any problmes.
