And news of Murray’s imminent retirement led Kyrgios to admit he is losing his “best friend” on tour.

All rather touching, but still Murray was all too happy to poke fun at his friend on his Instagram story, with Kyrgios cutting a rather lonely figure at dinner…

Murray may well be leaving the Tour this year, but who knows what role he will have to play throughout Kyrgios’ career… his future coach? Let’s wait and see…
