Tennis News - Petra Kvitova downs Belinda Bencic in straight sets to reach fourth round

Petra Kvitova made light work of Belinda Bencic in the third round of the Australian Open on Friday, to sail through the the last 16.

The Czech overcame Bencic in just an hour and eight minutes to extend her winning streak to nine matches.
Eighth seed Kvitova broke in the fourth game to go 3-1 up, and went on to win the remaining three games to win the first set by a convincing 6-1.
Though it took a little longer in the second set to break the Swiss' serve, Kvitova did just that in the seventh game, eventually wrapping up the second set 6-4.
Kvitova will face 17-year-old American Amanda Anisimova in the fourth round.
