There's all to play for at the Australian Open, especially in the men's draw as nine-time winner Novak Djokovic misses out. Stefanos Tsitsipas is among the contenders as is Daniil Medvedev and both take to Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday. Meanwhile on the women's side, Emma Raducanu kicks off her campaign against Sloane Stephens. Stream the 2022 Australian Open live and on demand on discovery+

‘She needs to be selfish!’ – Wilander tells Raducanu not to care what people think

Day two at the Australian Open 2022 will see Stefanos Tsitsipas, Emma Raducanu, Simona Halep and Daniil Medvedev take to the court.
Simona Halep also starts her campaign on Margaret Court Arena while Spain's Garbine Muguruza will be first up on Rod Laver Arena against Clara Burel.

TOP MATCH - Stephens vs Raducanu

Emma Raducanu's first round match against Sloane Stephens is one to watch as the Brit plays her first Grand Slam match since her US Open final win in September. She faces the toughest of starts, playing 2017 US Open champion Stephens, but Raducanu has defied expectation before and the world will be watching to see if she can go on another winning streak. Raducanu has never lost a Grand Slam match outside of England before...

POTENTIAL UPSET - Basilashvili vs Murray

Andy Murray returns to Grand Slam action and will have the crowd behind him, but be warned, Murray went the distance in the Sydney Tennis Classic and may yet to have fully recovered. He's also up against a big-hitter in Nikoloz Basilashvili, a player he beat en route to the Sydney final. Murray is the lower-ranked of the two but given the Brit's recent surge in form, a win for 21st-ranked Basilashvili would register as an upset. The nation, and many Murray fans in Australia, could certainly end up upset by the end of this one.

NEXT-GEN WATCH

Lorenzo Musetti, just 19 years old, takes on fellow youngster and home favourite Alex de Minaur. De Minaur is already a rising star in the men's game, but Musetti could make his name with a win on Margaret Court Arena. This is truly a next generation battle.
