EDMUND 6-3 6-2 7-5 ELIAS: Well done, Kyle Edmund, through to round two in straight sets. A brilliant forehand winner zooms past the Portuguese player to finish things off.


EDMUND 6-3 6-2 6-5 ELIAS: That's the break! Kyle Edmund quietly clenches his fist but that's a major blow for him. Can he capitalise on this?


EDMUND 6-3 6-2 5-5 ELIAS: Can't split these two in this third set, which has gone past the half-hour mark now.


EDMUND 6-3 6-2 4-5 ELIAS: But Elias is looking solid on his serve as well and cruises through to nudge into the lead again.


EDMUND 6-3 6-2 4-4 ELIAS: Kyle Edmund looked like he might be having a bit of a dip here in the sunshine but he comes back to hold serve in this third.


Edmund has taken his eye off the ball and his foot off the gas - Elias has broken him, and leads 2-0 in the third set.


Kyle Edmund is on absolute fire! A thunderous serve cements the second set 6-2, and he might even beat Murray back to the locker room!


Edmund is flying! He leads 4-1 in set two, having just slammed home the double-break!


edmund is playig really well out there, such that it's possible to see given how distant the cameras are. He's a break up in the second set, leading 2-1. The winner of this plays Tsonga.


Edmund forces Elias to deuce, but he manages to hold his first service of the second set.


Edmund gets to 40-15, but Elias blazes two return winners past him to get deuce. Edmund then has to save a break point, before a nifty serve out wide allows him to close out the set 6-3!


Edmund has a go at serving for the set, but can't pull it off; it's now 5-2, but he'll be back in a second - Elias is looking good for 5-3.
