Mona Barthel removes Magdalena Rybarikova from Nottingham Open

Second seed Magdalena Rybarikova crashed out of the second round of the Nottingham Open after a defeat by Mona Barthel.
The German world number 117 saw off the Slovakian 6-3 1-6 7-5 to take her place in the quarter-finals.
There was, however, no such problem for third seed Naomi Osaka of Japan, who coasted past Czech player Denisa Allertova 6-3 6-2.
Romanian fifth seed Mihaela Buzarnescu is also safely into the last eight after she defeated Irina Falconi 6-3 5-7 6-3.
At the Libema Open in s-Hertogenbosch, top seed Coco Vandeweghe booked her place in the quarter-finals with a 7-5 6-2 win over Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus.
Sixth seed Alison Van Uytvanck of Belgium is out after a 6-3 6-7 (4/7) 2-6 defeat against Viktoria Kuzmova, the Slovakian world number 81.
Aleksandra Krunic, the seventh seed, also progressed after beating home player Bibiane Schoofs 7-5 6-2.
Russian Veronika Kudermetova, meanwhile, moved into the quarter-finals with a 6-2 2-6 6-3 win over Swizterland’s Belinda Bencic.
