Novak Djokovic struggled to a 6-3 4-6 6-3 victory over Philipp Kohlschreiber at the Monte Carlo Masters, but could hardly contain his emotions.

The Serb battled past Kohlschreiber in three sets, but had a total meltdown as he obliterated his racket in very angry fashion.
The world number one lost his temper in stunning fashion after being broken during the second set and received an official warning for the outburst.
Djokovic was not handed a point penalty - and even more so after he followed smashing a racket by throwing another at a ball and sending it into the crowd.

Fortunately for the 31-year-old, the tossed racket ended up where the groundstaff overseeing the court covers were sitting and not the fans in the front rows of Court Rainier III.
He described the performance as "rusty" after the match, and he'll certainly need to sharpen up his play and composure for the next round.
