Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova win women's doubles gold, Hingis and Bacsinszky take silver

Russian duo Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova won women's doubles gold, with Martina Hingis and Timea Bacsinszky having to settle for silver at Rio 2016.
Hingis, making her first Olympic appearance since her debut at the Atlanta Games in 1996, partnered Bacsinszky in successful fashion but the pair came up just short.
Vesnina and Makarova secured the two crucial breaks of serve they required as they triumphed in straight sets, 6-4 6-4.
