GAME, SET AND MATCH! – NADAL 6-0 6-2 7-5 DJOKOVIC. The King of Clay reigns supreme! Rafael Nadal chalks up his 100th win at the French Open by destroying his great rival Novak Djokovic. He serves out to love, sealing it with an ace to get the job done in two hours and 41 minutes. The victory sees the Spaniard claim an incredible 13th Roland Garros crown and equal Roger Federer’s record of 20 Grand Slams in total. Djokovic never looked close to upsetting Rafa in the end. New balls, new roof, different conditions – same old Rafa at RG.

BREAK! – NADAL 6-0 6-2 6-5 DJOKOVIC. A fourth double fault of the match from the world number one – and Nadal breaks again! The Spaniard came out with more urgency on his return game and his combo of big forehands and stretchy defence wrestles the momentum back his way. He will now serve for the title.
NADAL 6-0 6-2 5-5 DJOKOVIC. Rafa shrugs off dropping the first point of the game to reel off some important forehands and ease to a hold to 15. Big, big moments in this match right now.
NADAL 6-0 6-2 4-5 DJOKOVIC. Nole has found a few extra gears, that’s for sure. Nadal piles on some pressure by winning another spellbinding point to eek out a BP. Nole saves it with a brave second serve and continues to try and hit even harder to drag himself over the line. Tricky times for Nadal now. He must hold to stay in Set 3.
NADAL 6-0 6-2 4-4 DJOKOVIC. That’s a significant hold for Rafa. He can see Novak has raised himself and needs to re-focus and remain calm. A brilliant crosscourt forehand helps him take control of the game before he outlasts the Serb to edge it to 30.
NADAL 6-0 6-2 3-4 DJOKOVIC. What a strange turnaround from Djokovic. He’s now hitting brilliantly. There's more margin for error, but he's got nothing to lose. It’s an easy hold to 15 and he’s back in front on the board in Set 3.

BREAK! – NADAL 6-0 6-2 3-3 DJOKOVIC. Hang on a moment. Nadal gets tight and misfires shots that have been purring all match. The Spaniard saves one BP with a lovely, diagonal pick-up from a drop shot. However, Djoker applies more pressure and makes the breakthrough on a second. He punches the air and roars. Momentum change?

BREAK! – NADAL 6-0 6-2 3-2 DJOKOVIC. Once again the Nadal pressure proves too much. The Spaniard unloads a barrage of forehands to leave Novak trapped in the far corner of his court. The Serb appears deflated as he coughs up a break to love. Nadal marches to his chair in delight. He’s been superb this afternoon.

NADAL 6-0 6-2 2-2 DJOKOVIC. Wonderful from Nadal. His first serve deserts him, but he bewitches with a sublime drop shot from deep and then sinks to his knees to steer a dangerous Djoker return into the empty court to clinch the game.
