SVITOLINA v PODOROSKA Right then! Collins’ three-set victory over Jabeur means the quarter-final line-up is complete… and also about to get under way! Kicking things off on Chatrier is the highest remaining women’s seed, Elina Svitolina, with the third seed taking on the unseeded Argentine Nadia Podoroska. Svitolina has dropped just one set en route to the fourth round, but now the pressure is on the Ukrainian with Halep and Pliskova out. Podoroska meanwhile is enjoying a dream run, with the world No 131 playing in just her second Grand Slam tournament - her first being a first-round exit at the US Open four years ago! This one should get going at around 12.25pm BST.

ONE hold of serve for Svitolina all match, and broken EIGHT times.
But take nothing away from Podoroska, who didn't just hold her nerve but brushed aside the third seed with ease.
When it mattered most, she held in that second set, and in 80 minutes she has advanced to the semis. What a run, and it's not over yet!

GAME, SET, MATCH PODOROSKA
A mammoth rally at 30-15 goes Podoroska’s way and it’s 30-30 – the match on a knife-edge…. Then Svitolina finds the net and it’s match point…
Oh dear! A tame return finds the net and to deuce we go. And then a huge forehand brings up a second match point for Podoroska…
Which she can’t convert! The longest rally of the match, filled with plenty of nervy shots, goes Svitolina’s way after both came to the net and Podoroska goes wide.
Svitolina loose again and a THIRD match point for the Argentine… WHICH SHE CONVERTS WITH A FOREHAND!
What a moment for the world No 131… Another upset in the French Open – she has sent Svitolina packing!!

SVITOLINA 2-6 *4-5 PODOROSKA
A HOLD! AN ACTUAL HOLD!
And how significant could that be?? The qualifier holds to 15 and she’s now a game away from the semi-finals. The way Svitolina has been serving, that could be the very next game – time for the Ukrainian to step up a few gears and fight to stay in this match.

MAKE THAT SIX…
Both players in the 50s for first serve % this set, and it’s showing. The error count for both is also exceeding the winner count.
Podoroska races to 0-40 but somehow Svitolina saves all three – doing so on the final one with a volley that finds the line.
From deuce to another break point just as a few umbrellas go up on Chatrier, and at the fourth time of asking Podoroska converts!

FIVE STRAIGHT BREAKS
The quality is seriously lacking in this match at the moment. Nerves, probably, the wind too, but another Podoroska error means Svitolina breaks again. Can she stop the run of breaks and edge towards taking this second set?

GUESS WHAT…
Another break! Holding serve is coming at a premium at the moment, and it could well decide who takes this set.

SVITOLINA BREAKS AGAIN
Errors. Too many errors. Svitolina takes advantage of some wayward Podoroska play to move back in front after another break.

BREAK BACK!
Svitolina really should make the pass but she misses and falls 15-40 down, handing Podoroska two break-back points.
And she breaks with the first! A well constructed point which ends with a drop shot. Back on serve.

A BREAK FOR SVITOLINA!
Almost from nowhere really. Podoroska was 30-0 up and seemingly in control, but a few loose shots ultimately gift Svitolina the break and the third seed edges in front.
13:10
SVITOLINA 2-6 1-1* PODOROSKA
Relief for Svitolina, who holds for the FIRST time this match – and to love. The first ace of the match helps her get on the board in this set.
13:08
SVITOLINA 2-6 *0-1 PODOROSKA
For Podoroska it’s just about keeping this momentum going, and there are no signs of change at the start of this second set with Svitolina still misfiring. Too many errors from the Ukrainian – something has to change.
First set… 17-2 winners in Podoroska’s favour!

SET FOR PODOROSKA!
Just about sums up Svitolina’s first set… A double fault makes it 0-40 and then Podoroska sends down a winning return to take the opener after just 34 minutes. A dominant performance so far… from the world No 131!!
13:00
SVITOLINA *2-5 PODOROSKA
ONE BREAK BACK…
Podoroska rolls the dice at 30-30 with a big forehand, but it goes just wide and then Svitolina converts the break point. Still a lot for the third seed to do to stay in this set!
12:57
SVITOLINA 1-5* PODOROSKA
THIRD BREAK FOR PODOROSKA!
What nerves?! For Svitolina, perhaps, because it’s Podoroska who is dominating now and she has a third straight break to lead 5-1. She’s now serving for the set.
12:53
SVITOLINA *1-4 PODOROSKA
This time it’s a hold to 30 for Podoroska, who has won four games on the spin and has rattled Svitolina, who extends her arms out in frustration and looks towards her corner after she sends a shot wide to seal the game for her opponent.

ANOTHER BREAK FOR PODOROSKA!
Which player is outside the top 100 and which one is the third seed?
Podoroska breaks again! And Svitolina is really struggling with her serve right now, down at 57% first serves and winning just 2/8 when going in.
12:45
SVITOLINA *1-2 PODOROSKA
Both players just struggling on serve at the moment, it’s blustery out there, but that will be a big boost for Podoroska as she rallies to save THREE break points before earning the first hold of the match.
12:39
SVITOLINA 1-1* PODOROSKA
IMMEDIATE BREAK BACK!
Bit too casual from Svitolina on game point as a drop shot doesn’t make it over. On deuce the duo race towards the net and it’s Podoroska who volleys a winner to earn break point…
And she gets it! Svitolina goes long with a backhand.
