Top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Pablo Cuevas 6-3 7-6 (4) to secure his first clay-court title at the Millennium Estoril Open in Portugal.
The Uruguayan landed only 53 per cent of his first serves in the first set and Tsitsipas was able to capitalise.
In the second, the 20-year-old Greek had to save a set point at 4-5 before the two traded service games, with Tsitsipas winning the tie-break.
At the BMW Open in Munich, Cristian Garin came through 6-1 3-6 7-6 (1) against Matteo Berrettini to win the tournament.
Chilean Garin had won one ATP Tour game before the start of the season but has since won two titles, and 19 matches on clay.
The 22-year-old saved two match points against top seed Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals and got off to a quick start in the final, breaking Berrettini’s serve twice in the first set.
The Italian then came back in the second to take the set before Garin sealed the win in the third-set tie-break to triumph after two hours and nine minutes on the court.
In the Mutua Madrid Open, Felix Auger-Aliassime beat fellow Canadian Denis Shapovalov 6-2 7-6 (7) to go through to the round of 32, while Nick Kyrgios fell 6-7 (4) 4-6 to German Jan-Lennard Struff.
