Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 7-6(0) Murray. Game, set and match. Anderson wraps up his first ever win over a top 10 player and reaches his first Grand Slam quarter-final with a booming forehand return that Murray cannot return. Instead the Brit's forehand ends up in the net and it is Anderson through to face French Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka in the last eight.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-6 (6-0) Murray. Tie-break. Murray is pretty furious with himself as he nets on the first two points of the set, getting jammed on the ball. Anderson then pelts an angled forehand return of serve winner across court to outhit Murray and further extend his lead. A couple of net cords don't help Murray's cause as he struggles to adjust to Anderson's slightly redirected backhand before his own backhand reply is taken long by the net cord. An ace, incorrectly challenged by Murray, sees Anderson take himself to two points away from the quarter-finals. That then becomes only one point, Anderson extending his lead to six match points at the change of ends, when Murray's forehand lands just wide down the line.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-6 Murray. Murray appears to be calmly moving through another hold as he takes the first two points of the game, but a couple of errors including a forehand long down the line allows Anderson to level up at 30-all. But a breathtaking rally ends with a high Murray backhand volley winner to earn the Brit a game point before an ace seals the game for the Brit. Just like the last set, it will be a tie-break to decide this set, and maybe the match.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-5 Murray. Another calm service hold for Anderson to take the lead once more and ensure that the worst that happens in this set is he ends it in another tie-break. Murray will have to serve to stay in this match for a second consecutive time.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 5-5 Murray. Murray eases through a drama-free service hold to love to level up once more. It's that kind of calmness under pressure that has seen Murray to the world number three spot. Anderson will serve again to take the lead.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 5-4 Murray. Anderson leaves himself potentially just one game away from a huge win, Murray having to serve to stay in this match after the change of ends. The South African makes consecutive trips into the net, finding a forehand winner and then a backhand winner to hold to love and put all the pressure on Murray once again.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 4-4 Murray. The Brit world number three races through a love service hold with an unreturnable serve to level up once more.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 4-3 Murray. Another comfortable service hold for Anderson, the South African sealing it with an ace that Murray cannot read at all. Anderson once again potentially just two games away from a huge victory.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 3-3 Murray. Murray gets a little lucky when Anderson goes long with his attempted backhand passing shot down the line after he failed to move away like Murray expected after his backhand approach shot. But the Brit holds to 15 to level again.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 2-2 Murray. The determination is back in Anderson's eyes as he earns himself a break point with a big-hitting game. Murray saves it when the South African completely wastes a slower first serve from the Brit, sending his response long. There is nothing Anderson can do about the next point though as Murray flicks a trademark running forehand passing shot winner off a ball that he has no right to get to let alone hit a winner off. Murray can't take advantage of his game point when he pulls a forehand long across court and hands Anderson another break point with a netted forehand. The South African nets a forehand of his own to squander it and Murray goes on to hold and level up once more.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 2-1 Murray. Unfortunate for Murray as he is undone by a mis-hit from Anderson. The South African mis-times his backhand across court off the shorter ball from Murray, causing the odd bounce, and a rushed backhand response from the Brit, whose backhand ends up in the net to allow Anderson to hold.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 1-1 Murray. A clinical service hold from Murray, sealing hte game to love to put all the pressure back on Anderson in the early stages of this fourth set. The longer Murray can stick in this, surely the more Anderson's five-set loss to Djokovic, from two sets to love up, at Wimbledon this year will play on his mind.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 1-0 Murray. Anderson easily gets up the court to flick an angled backhand drop shot winner across court but Murray pushes him to deuce before a couple of errors allow the South African to hold for the opening game of the fourth set. Murray plays a great point except for the final volley to hand Anderson a game point, the Brit failing to find the court with his final shot, before also going just long with a forehand return to allow the South African to hold.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-7(2) Murray. Set. Anderson pegs one point back after the change of ends with a big serve but Murray brings up four set points with a big serve of his own before going on to take this third set with an ace out wide. The double Grand Slam champion has one of the sets back as he looks to come back from two sets to love down for the second time in a week.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-6 (1-5) Murray. Tie-break. Murray takes a 5-1 lead into the change of ends after consecutive forehand returns just long and then a spot of luck with a bet cord that results in a forehand drop shot winner from Murray.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 6-6 Murray. The crowd are on their feet after a sensational point from both players. Murray somehow gets a huge inside out forehand across court back into play before racing back across the baseline to flick a smash back over the net. It results in a tough pick up for Anderson which Murray lobs back over the six foot eight South African's head. But somehow Anderson gets back and twists his forehand passing shot over the net for a winner. This set, and maybe the match, will be decided on a tie-break.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 5-6 Murray. Murray just misses his running forehand lob attempt, long of the basline, to allow Anderson to level up at 30-all. But he makes a trip into the net behind an attacking forehand before dinking a delicate backhand stop volley winner to bring up game point. And he takes full advantage with a big serve that Anderson nets in return. This set will end on no worse than a tie-break for Murray.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 5-5 Murray. Murray tees up the big backhand passing shot down the line to peg Anderson back a point but can do nothing but groan on the next point after Anderson finds the space across court with a forehand winner. A backhand long from Murray then allows Anderson to hold and level up once more.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 4-5 Murray. Battling stuff from Murray as he gets the ball back deep and waits for the error from Anderson, eventually getting the forehand long down the line to hold for the loss of the one point. Anderson will have to serve to stay in this third set after the change of ends.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 4-4 Murray. A neat one-two from Anderson as he works his way up the court to put away the forehand volley winner and hold once again to keep the pressure on Murray.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 3-4 Murray. Back-to-back aces from Murray, one out wide and the second down the line, help Murray hold from a slightly challenging situation at 30-all. Murray just about keeping his nose in front in this third set at the moment.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 3-3 Murray. Anderson levels things up, albeit on his second game point. He goes long down the line on a forehand after backing away from the ball on the first. But Murray can do nothing about the second, failing to find the court with a backhand, to allow Anderson to fully get things back on track.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 2-3 Murray. Break. An extra injection of pace on a forehand down the line from Anderson sees Murray go long with his return and allow the South African a chance to get this third set back on serve. And that's exactly what he does when a running forehand across court from Murray drops just wide.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 1-3 Murray. Break. Some negativity from Anderson now as he finds himself triple break point down with an inside out forehand wide across court and a shocking error on a shoulder-height forehand volley. The South African pulls down on the ball to gift Murray three break points and the Brit only needs the one when Anderson nets a backhand from the baseline.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 1-2 Murray. Murray looks revitalised now as he holds to 30 with another big roar. The Brit, and the crowd, thought he had held with a first serve ace out wide only for the ball to be called out. Murray has a good look before deciding not to challenge the call. He holds behind the second serve, though, when Anderson goes wide with a cross court forehand.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 1-1 Murray. Break. Murray has a bit of a moan at the umpire about Anderson having gone off to change his clothes at the end of that second set and it seems to help him rediscover a bit of a fire as he denies Anderson on two game points before an untimely double fault from the South African hands Murray a break back point. The Brit can't quite take advantage of it as Anderson fires down a 118mph second serve but he gets a second chance with a blistering forehand approach shot and easy forehand volley winner. And this time he does break back - a huge roar from the crowd and Murray greeting Anderson's forehand long of the baseline.

Anderson 7-6(5) 6-3 1-0 Murray. Break. Murray continues to find himself under extreme pressure - quickly finding himself facing triple break point at the start of this third set. The Brit saves the first with a trip into the net that forces Anderson to go for the big forehand passing shot, which the South African misses. And a big serve saves the second for Murray as Anderson nets his reply. But a sublime dipping backhand return off a very good Murray serve sees Anderson seal the early break at the third attempt when a scrambling Murray can only put his return into the very bottom of the net.

Anderson 7-6 5-3 Murray: A groan as Murray returns wide on game-point, but he manages to hold on the next. Anderson still gets chance to serve this out, though, for a two sets to love lead.
