DEL POTRO IS THROUGH! What a performance from the big Argentinean! A straight sets 6-4, 6-3, 6-1 win for Del Potro over Coric. The number three seed has yet to drop a set at this year's US Open and is a real challenger.

*DEL POTRO 5-1 CORIC (6-4, 6-3): Coric will now serve to stay in the match, but it's really a matter of time until Del Potro closes this out. The Croatian isn't moving well.

DEL POTRO 4-1 CORIC* (6-4, 6-3): It's a commanding lead for Del Potro in this third set now. He is just two games away from the quarter finals. He's been great this evening.

*DEL POTRO 3-1 CORIC (6-4, 6-3): A solid hold from Del Potro to consolidate the break he earned in the last game. Coric's fight is diminishing here. Is his injury taking its toll?

*DEL POTRO 1-1 CORIC (6-4, 6-3): The big Argentinean replies with a comfortable hold of his own. Coric seems to be struggling a little bit with a slight hamstring strain.

DEL POTRO 5-3 CORIC* (6-4): Coric comfortably holds to love after an injury time out. He seemed to be getting some treatment on a hamstring strain of some kind.

*DEL POTRO 5-2 CORIC (6-4): That was a big hold. That was where Del Potro got broken back in the first set, but there was to be no such twist in this set.

DEL POTRO 4-2 CORIC* (6-4): Encouraging hold from Coric. That keeps him within a single break of serve of Del Potro in this second set. A big ace on game point, there.

*DEL POTRO 4-1 CORIC (6-4): The number three seed backs up the break with applomb. Coric just couldn't handle the weight and depth of the hitting from Del Potro.

DEL POTRO 3-1 CORIC* (6-4): The Croatian looks raging with himself. A couple of errors from Coric gives Del Potro the lead at a crucial time in this second set.

*DEL POTRO 2-1 CORIC (6-4): There was a half chance for Coric at 30-30 on the Delpo serve there, but the Argentinean finds some big serving, including an ace, at the right time.

DEL POTRO 1-1 CORIC* (6-4): Two good holds early on in this second set from both players. Coric looks fired up after taking a bathroom break at the end of the first.

*DEL POTRO 1-0 CORIC (6-4): Very strong start to the second set for the Argentinean. Some unreturnable serves and an ace from Del Potro in that service hold to love.
