Venus Williams crushes Laura Siegemund to reach fourth round

Venus Williams brushed aside Germany's Laura Siegemund 6-1 6-2 to reach the fourth round of the US Open.

Williams, 36, never let her opponent into the match; and the German struggled to keep hold of her serve in the face of so much power.
Williams won the first set in just over half an hour, peppering Siegemund with strong shots even if few of them were winners.

"I'm happy with putting wins under my belt," she said after the match. "I'm always in search for perfection. If it's not perfect, I'm back to the drawing board
