Wakanda For-never: Serena Williams' 'Black Panther' catsuit banned

Serena Williams' famous Black Panther inspired catsuit was back in the news on Friday after the French Open president said it would "no longer be accepted" at the tournament.
Williams' catsuit, which she said, in a reference to 2018's Marvel blockbuster Black Panther, was "Wakanda inspired" drew much attention at the time.
Although the full-length black suit made her feel like "a warrior princess," it also was designed to protect against blood clots, which the former world No.1 suffered from while giving birth to daughter Olympia, last year.
However, tournament president Bernard Giudicelli faced a social media backlash after he singled out Williams' kit for attention when he said future outfits would need to be more conservative.
Speaking to Tennis Magazine Giudicelli said: "I believe we have sometimes gone too far. Serena’s outfit this year, for example, would no longer be accepted. You have to respect the game and the place."

And with Serena on the verge of launching her collaboration with Nike and Louis Vuitton head of menswear Virgil Abloh - the so called "Queen Collection" - some had alternative kits in mind...
