-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 6-2 – An ace down the tee sets up two match points and an unrealistic attempt at a winner down the line from Gajdosova sails wide and hands it to the world number one.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 5-2 – BREAK! Point of the match won by Wozniacki as she lobs over the shoulder of Gajdosova. She scurries back and lifts a return high, but the world number one smashes it with ease. It’s deuce, then the Australian clips the net for a break point. A backhand goes wide and Wozniacki is left to serve out for the match.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 4-2 – Wozniacki’s harrying well, but can’t quite reach a smash. A brilliant return of serve and the Dane can’t keep it in. She hangs in there though and draws a couple of errors from her opponent, including a poor backhand that travels well long.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 3-2 – Wozniacki threatens serve again as she gets to 15-30. Gajdosova replies with winners herself, reeling off three points in a row.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 3-1 – Break point for Gajdosova, but a traction engine of a forehand from the Dane gets it back to deuce. A simple backhand put away and a lovely drop shot saves the game and consolidates the break.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 2-1 – BREAK! Wozniacki clips the line for a winner. Gajdosova hits a forehand miles long and it’s two break points for the Dane. A lovely volley is cushioned over the net to save one, and she does the same with the second, getting down low to volley across the net. Another chance for Wozniacki though...the Australian comes into the net again, but this time clips her half-volley into the net. WOZNIACKI 6-3 2-1 – BREAK! Wozniacki clips the line for a winner. Gajdosova hits a forehand

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 1-1 – Gajdosova completely misses a serve which falls well within her hitting range. She makes up for it with perhaps the point of the match following a long rally ended when she comes into the net and drive volleys up the line.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 0-1 – Wozniacki wrong foots Gajdosova with a forehand winner, but the Australian responds to open the scoring in this second set.

-

WOZNIACKI 6-3 – The Dane with a forehand lob that lands bang on the line for set point. A big serve out wide which is returned meekly into the net and she takes it.

-

WOZNIACKI 5-3 – Opening point of the Gajdosova serve for Wozniacki, but the Australian replies with heavy ground strokes to force an error and level the score. The Dane with a winner off the backhand side, but again Gajdosova using her serve to good effect. First break point of the match and she only need a sniff. Suddenly she just has to serve out for the set.

-

WOZNIACKI 4-3 – Gajdosova hits a crosscourt return winner reminiscent of Nadal and she lunges with both hands on the racquet. A long forehand from Wozniacki, but she puts it to bed with a ball into the Austrian’s feet to move narrowly ahead in this set.

-

WOZNIACKI 3-3 – That’s a bit better from the world number one and she hits a return winner down the line off the second serve. Another deep return draws the error, but Gajdosova holds her nerve and comes to the net to volley for the hold.

-

WOZNIACKI 3-2 – More incredibly easy holding from the server as Gajdosova wins to love. Consistent serving and poor returning as Wozniacki holds to 15.

-

WOZNIACKI 2-1 – Wozniacki holds her opening game to love, but Gajdosova is similarly comfortable on serve. At the changeover it’s all on serve and very uneventful.
