AZARENKA - SET - 6-2 - After a dreadful start Azarenka seems to have found her groove and is just too much for Petrova out on Court No. 3. The Belarussian creafts her way to two set points and takes the first when Petrova goes wide with a forehand.

-

AZARENKA - BREAK 5-2 - Petrova cannot keep up with the fourth seed. Maybe the horrendously loud, and long screams are putting off the russian. Either way, Azarenka is dominating now and will serve to take the first set.

-

AZARENKA 4-2 - Azarenka consolidates the break with a solid service game. She serves powerfully and screams loudly throughout the whole game. Three unreturned serves help the Belarussian to lead 4-2.

-

AZARENKA - BREAK - 3-2 - Some very poor serves from the Russian allow Azarenka to break for the second time in quick succession. Petrova nets a backhand at break point to lose her service game.

-

AZARENKA 2-2 - And we're back on serve. Azarenka serves excellently and races to 40-15 but is pegged back after making a very routine backhand look extremely hard. The fourth seed creams a forehand cross-court for a winner and the hold.

-

AZARENKA - BREAK - 1-2 - That's better. The Belarussian instantly breaks back. She seems to have remembered how to play tennis following that horrific first game. Azarenka powers her way through the Russian's service game and breaks to 30.

-

AZARENKA - BREAK - 0-2 - What a truly horrible start to the match! Azarenka loses the first three points of the game, handing Petrova a chance of a break. The fourth seed manages to get back to deuce but two more unforced errors ensure the first break of serve.

-

AZARENKA 0-1 - The Russian Petrova races through the first service game of the match. She sends down three big serves, two of which are unreturned. Azarenka goes long with a backhand on game point.
