'Double hit' controversy as Ivo Karlovic beats Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in four

Ivo Karlovic of Croatia beat France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6(3) 4-6 7-6(2) 7-6(9) to progress to the fourth round of Wimbledon.

Karlovic did not manage to earn a single break point against Tsonga but the 36-year-old rode his exceptional serve to make the second week at the All England Club.
However, the win was marked by controversy after Karlovic appeared to be the beneficiary of a double hit in the fourth-set tie-breaker.

Tsonga had set point at 7-6 but Karlovic returned his passing shot courtesy of a clear double hit before eventually prevailing 11-9 to set up a last-16 match with Andy Murray, who beat Andreas Seppi 6-2 6-2 1-6 6-1.
Karlovic hurled down an incredible 41 aces in the match.
