Wimbledon 2017: Gael Monfils dumped out by compatriot Adrian Mannarino in five sets

Adrian Mannarino stunned 15th seed Gael Monfils to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon after a five-set epic.
Mannarino took the first set on a tiebreak, but his compatriot looked to take control of the match when he built up a 2-1 lead, playing some outrageous tennis in the process.
World number 51 Mannarino needed to produce something spectacular to reach the second week of Wimbledon for the second time in his career.
But produce something spectacular is exactly what he did, taking the fourth set 6-3 with a timely break and then upping his remarkably high standard yet further with a double break in the fifth to take it 6-2.
The Wimbledon crowd will be disappointed to see the back Monfils, who provided yet more of his moments of magical skill during Saturday's match.
A remarkable 360 degree spin followed by a winner down the line drew gasps from the watching fans.
But better was still to come, with Monfils unfurling a no-look lob before picking off a Mannarino tweener with a drop-shot volley.
But for all of Monfils' mercurial brilliance, it was Mannarino who progressed to the fourth round, where the 29-year-old will face Novak Djokovic.
