Serena Williams has recovered from a set down to beat Camila Giorgi, 3-6 6-3 6-4, and reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon.
Williams looked to be in a spot of bother when she surprisingly lost the opening set 6-3 and struggled with consistency from the back of the court.
But the 36-year-old got things back on track in the second by reversing the scoreline with a comfortable set to level the scores.
The American then cruised through the deciding set with a single break of serve enough to ensure her place in the semi-finals.
Serena, who is targeting an eighth title at SW19, is eyeing a first Grand Slam after taking a break from the sport for the birth of her first child.
She will next take on Julia Goerges after the 13th seed beat Kiki Bertens 3-6 7-5 6-1 in their quarter-final.
