MATCH OF THE DAY

  • 2-Rafael Nadal (Spain) v 12-Novak Djokovic (Serbia)

This looks on paper like an instant classic. Novak Djokovic finally looks to be back to top form and was imperious in beating Kei Nishikori in the quarter-finals.

Nadal is the favourite to win, but if Djokovic can continue to look as good as he has so far at Wimbledon this year we could be in for a real treat.

POTENTIAL UPSET OF THE DAY

  • 8-Kevin Anderson (South Africa) v 9-John Isner (USA)

It would hardly be an upset, but the semi-final between Kevin Anderson and John Isner could certainly go either way. Both players possess devastating serves and no lack of guts, so expect this one to go the distance.

A nailed on five-setter, Isner surely has to be the favourite given Anderson's epic exploits in overcoming Roger Federer in the previous round. As good as he has played in the tournament, he must be absolutely shattered.
