WEDNESDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • 12-Novak Djokovic (SRB) v 24-Kei Nishikori (JPN)
  • 5-Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) v 2-Rafael Nadal (ESP)
MATCH OF THE DAY
  • 5-Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) v 2-Rafael Nadal (ESP)
This has the look of an absolute classic. The match up of Del Potro and Nadal is a good one on any surface but is perhaps most intriguing on grass.
Nadal is, of course, the favourite - particularly after Del Potro's epic match in the last round against Gilles Simon. But then Nadal was expected to be badly fatigued at SW19 himself.
If Del Potro can rise to the challenge, this could be a match to remember.
POTENTIAL UPSET OF THE DAY
  • 12-Novak Djokovic (SRB) v 24-Kei Nishikori (JPN)
A few years ago this match would have been very one-sided. But Djokovic is no longer the player he was and Nishikori has looked superb so far this summer.
The Japanese star has enjoyed quite a resurgence in recent months and can certainly upset Djokovic if he clicks. This is certainly a match to enjoy.
