Overtake No 1 - Hand takes lead for final time at Le Mans
Over the years, Ford and Ferrari have been fighting at 24 Hours of Le Mans. After 50 years away from the competition, Ford came back to win the most prestigious race of the season. After a titanic battle with the No. 82 Ferrari, the No. 68 Ford GT took the lead for the final time in the 20th hour of the race. Joey Hand was behind the wheel on the third occasion that the Ford passed the Ferrari, rekindling a 50-year-old rivalry between the two car manufacturers.
Overtake No 2 - Tincknell takes a hit, but recovers
At Fuji, even though Ford started in pole and second position, the team faced a scary moment when Harry Tincknell (#67) took a hit from the GTE AM Porsche. However, he managed to go back and finish the race in first position.
Overtake No 3 - Ford come up trumps at corner
Even though the Ford car #66 started in second position at Fuji, it was a very tight race and the car often was on the verge of missing the podium. In the last 2 hours of the race, then in third position, #66 battled with the Aston Martin, taking the lead at the corner.
